I bought this product just over a month ago and am very pleased with its cleaning ability. The main thing that I am not pleased with is that the cycle is electronic and preprogramed. The Frigidaire I previously owned allowed me to change the cycle with a dial on the front of the machine.

Ruined my kitchen floor

I bought this dishwasher on January 2nd. Sometime between that day and January 18th it started to leak. I discovered the leak after I returned from a vacation on the 21st. My floor was buckling and it felt squishy all through the kitchen. I called Frigidaire, and they sent out a repairman. The leak was coming from a faulty solenoid between the cylinder and the valve. After the repair I called Frigidaire to tell them about my floor. They said i would need to turn it into my home owners insurance, because they would only cover the directly affected areas. Well, the same flooring that I have in my kitchen runs through the Kitchen, Livingroom and Dining room. So the affected area is my entire main living area. I was told this would not be covered. I called my home owners insurance agent to report the damage. They are now taking care of some of that damage. They called in a restoration company who came in and remove the damaged floor boards in my kitchen. They found the entire area covered in black mold. They ripped up more of the floor boards and found that it had gone out into the dining area. So for the next 4 days I could not access my kitchen because it was now behind a secured wall of plastic, where 2 big and very loud machines worked to suck the mold out of the air and dry the wet wood. I run a daycare in my home. I serve 20 children 3 meals a day....I need a kitchen. I have 4 children of my own with various schedules and we had to spend a lot of money eating out because there was nowhere to cook a meal. Now here I sit in my bedroom because all of my furniture is outside in a trailer while I wait another 10-14 days for my flooring to be replaced. Which by the way is going to cost me a whole bunch of money because my insurance company would only cover a portion because my floor, which was in perfect condition (and not in need of replacing for another 10-15 years) was 15 years old. So my question is why is my insurance company paying anything at all? And why am I paying anything at all? Why are we paying for Frigidaires mistake? For their faulty part? Why am I getting bills that I cannot afford simply because I bought a brand new dishwasher that had a faulty part? I received an email earlier this week requesting my review so here it is. Do you guys still think I have a chance of winning that $1000? I sure could use it right now.
