I bought this alongside the Xbox One X and so far this device has been able to beautifully perform in picture quality and sound

I got a bad one, cannot recommend

We bought our new tv to replace a 70Ó Visio 3d tv that went out. We noticed strips of gray above and below lighted areas in dark scenes. Best Buy looked at it and called LG who sent out a new main board. We were told if it didnÕt fix the problem weÕd get a new tv. The main board didnÕt fix it but instead of a new tv LG wanted to replace the panel. After the new panel, the original problem is still there but now there are also light splotches all over the dark screen. Was told they all do that. I deeply regret having bought this television

I've had the TV for about 2 weeks now and overall I've been very impressed with it. With 4K content, the image quality is excellent. For video screen purists, I guess the blacks are not as black as OLED or whatever in between technologies exist between LED and OLED. I've read the startup of the TV takes a while and during the initial setup I did notice that issue, but with day to day use of just turning it on for normal usage (not configuring anything), I think the start up time is very acceptable. I do think the selection of apps is limited with the LG Store and Alexa integration doesn't work as well as other products. I've been able to get Alexa to turn off the TV and adjust volume but haven't been able to get it to start the TV properly. Overall, I think its a great value and its great for watching movies.
