It's very attractive in gloss black!It does a GREAT JOB of cooling in the refrigerator and freezer compartments! The icemaker is great, too with the choice of crushed or cubed ice! I would have given it 5 stars except the plastic trays on the refrigerator doors is so tenuous that I couldn't.It is so thin that it couldn't get any leaner!

The unit is fine. I am having a little difficulty figuring out a functional place of the shelves for my purposes. But that will come with time. My only objection would be that it is much louder than my last refrigerator was. I would say that I might recommend it to a friend but with come cautions.

Apparently quality control skipped this one! First off it took us 9 months to get this thing from the time of order. Seemed to work ok for the first few months then this summer it decided to start frosting up ( a good 1/2 inch thick) on the inside left door and the refridge temp was struggling to stay between 48-50 , above its setting of 37, meanwhile the freezer was negative 20, far below its setting. Spoke with the service department and decided to empty the contents into coolers, defrost it overnight and restart it in the morning figuring maybe the humid summer weather allowed moisture to get inside. Seemed to work ok for 2 weeks then the frost came back. The service department came and inspected it again and found a small tear in the refrigerator door seal. They ordered new seals and returned to replace them. That didn't fix it and the frost and off temperatures returned. Called service once again, they happened to be in the area and stopped in to reinspect. This time they figured some vent wasn't opening and closing properly and also perhaps the freezer slide rails were out of kilter not making for a good seal. They returned to replace those parts only to find out they sent them the wrong freezer slide rails although the other part/s got replaced. Guess what?! Still frosting up with the same temperatures stated above. Just waiting for them to return and replace the freezer slide rails. Meanwhile this refrigerator/ freezer has been running constantly for a good couple months now. The delivery and service people have been cooperative and so far the only bright spot in this ordeal. As far as this GE product? I hate to have to go this far and put up a bad review but to say its disappointing is an understatement...

Love all the freezer space. Was much surprised that I do like the bottom freezer. Was originally looking at side by side but my kids have French door refrigerators and they like them so I tried it out since this one fit my space perfect. Refrigerator part may take me a while to get used to as the space seemed a bit awkward for what I had to put in it. Love the wide meat drawer and vegetable/fruit bins with separate humidity controls

This refrigerator is not only beautiful, but very functional. We have more space inside than we thought we would, and the outside water/ice dispenser is fantastic. If there was ONE improvement I would love to see, it would be to make the shelf arrangement so the cartons of milk and juice would fit on a shelf rather than in the door. There is no adjustment that allows for these slightly taller items to fit in the main compartment. I think it puts too much strain on the door hinges. Otherwise, thank you for making this model in the 33-inch width. We are very happy!

Very disappointed! 1) The unit is noisy almost all the time, with a variety of sounds. 2) The refrigerator section cannot be set lower than 34 degrees, and never gets that low. 3) Temp ranges within the refrigerator are as much as 6 degrees from one area to the next. 4) Design for arranging shelves -- and the design of the shelves themselves -- limits the way the space can be used. Guessing someone who never actually uses a refrigerator came up with the design. 5) In-door shelves are the worst I've ever experienced in terms of maximizing usable space.

My old refrigerator died during the pandemic which resulted in what I hope is much longer than normal wait time. I would™€™ve liked being able to see a floor model of this fridge before ordering but there was not one available. I might™€™ve passed on this one had been able to inspect it closer. It works as it should and looks really nice but there could be some improvements. 1. The water dispenser is painfully slow. I often give up on my 16 oz glass filling up before I walk away. 2. With any French door refrigerator, why would anyone want a single, and happens to be most used in my household, drawer (meat/cheese) across the length of the fridge. Both doors must be open to access it which seems very wasteful and inconvenient.

The last GE Refrigerator I will ever buy. We ordered a black one from Nebraska Furniture Mart because they aren't making black appliances anymore. Six months later it came. It was defective. The left outside had a large air pocket. Apparently from poor insulation. They found a slate black model similar to our first. Once it was installed, the left outside began to swell up, just like the first. What are the odds of the same issue occurring with two different refrigerators presumably made at two completely different times?

No ice or Water

I purchased this refrigerator in 2019 because it was the perfect size to fit into my space. Now 26 months later the ice and water dispensers have quit. The GE technician has been out 5 times and replace the water tank, valve, the filter holder and the door. It is still not working. The water line has been checked twice by a plumber. The water is not getting to the ice maker or water dispenser. Sometimes my milk freezes.

We have had the fridge for under a month and have been having issues since day one. The right side door does not stay open, it shuts as soon as you open it and the left side swings all the way open so hard I think its going to break. The internal side door does not stay closed at all. I'm really upset and disappointed, I hate this fridge and thats a string word.
