Not happy with dryer. Yes has the capacity but will not dry a large load. Need to run a load several times. Questionable if sensors run properly. I would return this dryer if I could. Would not recommend.

What a total let down

I am so disappointed. We literally got this dryer delivered yesterday. First load in and I hear this loud metal scraping noise. I take the laundry out and start it up again, and still hear the noise. The drum is not aligned right or something and is hitting some metal internally. How does a brand new dryer do this? Beyond irritated. Now I get to wait for a repair man to come out at the end of the week to "fix" My brand new dryer that I have used one time. And don't get me started on how not easy it was to schedule the service. And was told it was out of warranty and will need to pay?!! How? I just bought it a day ago. So beyond angry.

Disappointing Dryer

I™€™ve used GE appliances for over 40 years . . I have never had any issues with any of them over those 40+years. I am disappointed with this dryer. It™€™s been 3 months and a service man came to my house and had to place an order for a new control panel as it works intermittently. Sometimes I will push the on button to get it to start drying/drum turning etc. and sometimes it™€™ll start and sometimes it won™€™t budge. So I am left with wet clothes in a drum that doesn™€™t work. Ugh I am not used to that because GE products have always been dependable in the past.

Lint All Over the Place Consistently

I use to be a huge promoter of GE but with this washer and dryer set I am no longer. The dryer lint system is horrible. I open the door and lint is all over the door and around the plastic seal and drops to the floor. It has been making a noise for a week and now has a huge noise where I think the drum is defective. I am getting my first service set up today. I hope it gets better. The washer depth is very long and difficult to get clothes out and the settings do not have a spin only setting. This will likely be my last GE set. I loved the GE harmony set but this one is made terribly. If I could I would return both to get my money back!!

Needed to get a new dryer because my 8 year old SamSung dryer broke! I wanted to go with a brand that I trust because prior to Samsung I used to own GE and NOTHING ever happened to it, I just wanted a newer model. Well... that didn't go so well for me and now I am back to ONLY GE! the best brand ever! This dryer dries so quick... I just put it on timer, medium and 60 mins or high on 40 and BAM clothes are perfectly dried and dryer is on the quieter side. Size is nice and small from the frame and outside but in the inside the drying basket is actually and nice and good size. The vent was easy for the man to install and works well. The sensors seem to be working great, too and all the newer features are amazing I just need to mess with them and learn them.

The worst appliance I™€™ve ever owned Takes three hours to dry a load of clothes. Put one pair of silk underwear in alone for 20 minutes and it came out damp. Also extremely noisy. Do not buy !!!

This dryer is complete junk. It squeaked so bad when it's running, and you have to put the clothes in 223 times to dry, where do clothes come out damp dryer is only a few weeks old and customer service is awful. They are so rude on the phone and cannot find me a repaired guy to come out to my house. Now I'm stuck with a noisy broke dryer

horrible dryer

I just had this dryer installed yesterday 7/12/25 , not only is there a metal scraping sound as the drum turns but it doesn't dry my clothes. Three separate loads of laundry and not one has been dry at the end of the cycle. After 79 minute of drying time there were still damp spots all through out the clothes. This is a horrible machine.

I love the sleek and modern design of the dryer. It works as it should and would highly recommend this dryer. It is very easy to use and very user friendly. It is fairly large capacity. I could easily put a large comforter in it with no issues.
