The installation process is horrible. the mounting bracket only allows you to mount the unit all the way to the rear, up against the back wall. Then with a 7™€duct bracket being in the rear of the unit you have no room to duct tape around the entire unit.

Very nice looking range hood... do gar so good 👍ðŸ3/4 I looked in all the big box stores, but ordered the GE... it's much nicer. The electician that installed it also thought the same. It came with all the items and the installation was easy.

Unit shakes horrible when Fan on Hi

Very disappointed with this purchase. I went with the more expensive model thinking it would perform perfectly. Not true. I can never put the fan on hi because the motor is overpowered for the unit. When I place it on high the entire unit shakes horribly and makes such loud noise. Low is tolerable but not good.

Sleek Look. This is replacing a 30 year old vent. The light is bright and I love the fact that you can remove the screens (easily) and clean them in the dishwasher. This one is higher than my old one and doesn't take up as much space. Happy I selected this one.

My only greif is the lighting. The halogen lights are on the very front of the hood and only provide light to the front two burners of the stove. The fan is strong and does feature both low and high settings. Keeping it clean will be easy because everything is easily accessable.

We had a lot of trouble with fan noise. It took a lot of work to get the squirrel cage to not rub on the unit. I finally got it. Other than that it works great. We got it at Direct Appliance. Those people were great.
