Its a nice dryer. The sensor is fickle and dry times need to be increased but it gets the job done. Very quiet which is nice. Nice design. I dont bother with the WiFi feature but its cool it has that built in.

Lots of bells and whistles. I have to say at first I was blown away with the features. But using it for a few months leaves me frustrated. No matter the sitting it still leaves loads-big or small-damp in spots. Yes. Filter is always clean. Vent is never clogged. Fully clear. Have tried every setting more than a few times. Gas line is clear. When it works it works great. But you have to double the time to get it to fully dry a load.

I love the size and quality. It looks smaller on the outside but its a large capacity dryer and you can dry comforters etc and not worry about them still being damp after an hour. The double opening door is cool as well. Very happy with this dryer. Best Ive had in maybe 40 years. The smart WiFi features are nice but I dont use them. Yet. The WiFi doesnt reach or laundry room. Terrific product from LG

We bought the dryer from Best Buy in June of 2022. It seemed to work okay but it started to take a long time to dry. Went through the troubleshooting that is in the manual and LG website but it didnt help. Since the warranty period is over we are debating if its worth the cost to get it repaired.

Horrible Experience with service

We waited for hours to get someone on the phone. The LG Repair guy had to come out 4 different times and insulted and made lewd comments to my wife. We asked him to leave. The dryer was only 2 years old and we had to replace it with a new one. Never again.

Broke down way too soon

One year and half of ownership and my LG dryer stopped heating up. When you have wet clothes coming out of the washing machine and your dryer is not working you shift into repair mode. I found a local authorized repair service that arrived 7am in the morning to make the fix. The issue was the ignitor. An inexpensive part that should have lasted well beyond this failure. Perhaps a little better quality part should have been used for this function instead of focusing so much on the Smart technology

Great when its not broken

I have had this dryer for about two years and Im on my 4th major repair. The drum has had to be replaced twice and Im waiting on another parts replacement right now possibly another drum. The first time the drum needed to be replaced it blew a three inch hole in the metal. Im hoping LG replaces this dryer I have to wait until this repair is complete.

I have been so frustrated since I bought this dryer. When I call for support I am told the vent is too long. That of course is without someone coming to check it out. I live in a one-story home. How could the vent be too long. When I set the dryer for heavy duty the clothes are still damp. Then I set it for damp dry but I guess a sensor says its done. Its not. Then I set the timer for about 20 minutes. It goes off in about 5 minutes again probably because of a sensor. So Ive been hanging my clothes on drying racks Ridiculous THEN I got a letter offering an extended warranty. Why would I take an extension when Im not getting help/service now?

Good dryer - LG Terrible Cust Service - great Tech

Bought this from Costco get an extra year warranty luckily as it was making a squealing noice that LG gave me a very hard time in sending out a tech - had to send videos even after hearing the squealing on the phone. Spent several hours over three days before agreeing to send a tech - he was great - took him an hour to figure it out - it was a loose gas connection bracket - metal on metal noise. The LG Customer Service is the reason for the average score. I would have given them a one but the dryer is fine.

Some units are just problematic from the start. We bought both washer and dryer gas dryer to help safe on electric bill. We had an initial issue but the delivery guys seemed to fix that...about 1 year later the unit stopped producing heat all together. The biggest challenge was getting LG repair. Too much headache

I first decided to purchase the LG dryer because of the style. It is stylish and lived that the door opens two different ways. When I started using it I saw the true functionality. It has a sensor technology that not only saves me energy $$$ it also saves on the wearability of our clothes. It does not over heats the items so the material last as well as the color on the material. LOVE IT
