Bought this unit a little over 3 years ago. The touch control has been finicky for a while thought possible due to cold hands/fingers but it will not turn on at all now. Have reset the breaker multiple times as advised but it only makes all the lights on the panel flash. Calls to customer service accomplishing nothing but providing the problem multiple times to agents that asked the same questions over and over. End result was a text that was received giving phone numbers for 2 local service entities. Lifes good...not quite.

Ive had the stovetop for over 4 yrs and we had experienced that the burners cooked differently at the same setting. The chrome piece at the front scratches very easily. Really need to watch touching the panel while cooking because they could turn on.

We bought a house six years ago with appliances that were 20+years old. We live in a 55+ community so folks dont do much cooking however I love to cook and used my appliances a lot I thought my old cooktop was fine until I got my new LG cooktop a month ago. Wow The difference is amazing. It cooks so much quicker and hotter than my other one. I love the dual and triple burners along with the bridge that allowed me to make gravy in my large roasting pan at Thanksgiving. Easy to clean gorgeous and efficient. Thanks LG I love it

Three months and still not working

I bought this cooktop in August. It worked when they did the install. Went to use it the next day and it wasnt working. Then had electrician look at it. He got it working. Went to use it and it had stopped working. Electrician can back two more times and same thing. NOT WORKING Today LG Service sent someone he said it was the main board. BTW the tech from LG that he talked to was extremely rude to him and said it had to do with the electrical cord that Home Depot provided. The cooktop cord comes from LG with the cooktop and NOT from Home Depot. Then the tech on the phone said it was South Carolina code for wiring appliances. Apparently the main board needs replacing. Seriously on a appliance that has never been used because it never worked. Customer Service will not replace the cooktop even though it has never worked. Do not buy this product.

Since there is no knobs on the cook top it is very easy to clean. Easy to adjust the heating power by touching. Heats fast. I have been cooking with it everyday for the last two weeks. Only one time I had trouble turning it on in the morning. May be my fingers were not warm enough. I had to play with it for a couple of minutes before I had it turned on.

Couldnt get five years of expected use.

I have the LSCE365ST but it sounds beep alarms at all hours of the day and night even when the cooktop is not in use. We have had to turn off at the breaker to get sleep. The repair service plan says they wont cover the problem because it doesnt prevent the cooktop from cooking. LG says they wont cover since it is over a year old. Very disappointed.

This cooktop replaced a Viking cooktop. I love the burner configuration. It gives me the spaces I need to accommodate my cooking needs and the size of my pots. Burner control is remarkable. Great cooktop but could have been better

This cooktop heats fast and holds temperature nicely. Overall materials seem to be high quality and all functions as advertised. Overall this is a nice product. I have two issues with the cooktop. First the aluminum front edge looks nice at first. It is soft and easily scratched by moving pans over its surface. Even clean smooth bottom pans can and will scratch the surface. Ours looked well used after the first 30 days. Too bad for such a nice cooktop. Second the controls are not intuitive. You must turn on the burner by touching the symbol but the temperature controls are only in the center symbol. Everyone who uses this cooktop tries to adjust the burner on the symbol for that burner. How hard would it have been to put a temperature switch in each symbol? You could have turned on the burner and adjusted the temperature in one motion. Note these are minor annoyances and should not detract from a very good product at a value price.

I am very happy with my cook top and the different levels of cooking controls with the burners. It took me awhile to learn how to use the control panel for adjusting the heat but have caught on with a little practice. It is also very easy to clean.

Ive been cooking for over 55 years and this unit surpasses all my expectation. It was a breeze to install and it took only moments to learn how to use it. Im only sorry we didnt do this sooner.
